These rides belong to Rick and Pam Grose, a glazer and a second-grade teacher (both retired ) of Tucumcari, New Mexico.  The 2009 Dodge Charger Special Edition Super Bee SRT8 is Number 26 of 425, all of which are hemi-orange pearl.  Its features include: a 6.1 hemi, 425 hp, and 4 piston Brembo brakes with 14″ slotted rotors on all four 20×9 special forged aluminum SRT wheels, a functional hood scoop, a performance tuned lowered 4-wheel independent suspension specific to the Bee, and a satellite radio with a 6-disc CD/DVD player heard through six Boston Acoustic speakers and a 276-watt amp.

 

The 1979 Plymouth Volare Road Runner, one of 1122, was ordered December 26,1978, from Lloyd McKee Motors inAlbuquerque after we saw it in a car magazine. It has a 318, 4bbl, rather than a 360, due to new EPA standards as of January 1979.  Paint, interior, owners, engine, and body are all original.  With 45,000 original miles, it still has its original belts and hoses.  Wheels are cast aluminum road wheels specific to the RoadRunner package.  The RoadRunner has been a show car since 1993, earning 90 trophies and plaques, most of them first-place or class winner.
